Ingredients:
For The Chicken Patty:
- 150g Minced Chicken.
- 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil (7g)
- 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon mustard powder
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
- 1g chopped parsley
For The Gravy:
- 70g sliced onions
- 100g sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 120ml chicken stock
- 1 teaspoon sour cream
Instructions:
- Place the minced meat in a bowl. Add the Worcestershire sauce, mustard powder, garlic powder, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined. Flatten the seasoned Minced Chicken into a round patty, about ½-inch thick.
- Heat the oil in a medium-sized skillet on medium heat. Add the minced chicken patty to the hot skillet and cook for 4 minutes per side or until the burger is no longer raw. Remove the burger patty from the skillet and place it on a plate. Cover plate with aluminum foil and set aside.
To Make The Gravy:
- Return the skillet and add the onions. Cook, stirring occasionally for 1 minute. Add the mushrooms to the pan and cook, stirring occasionally until the mushrooms have softened, about 3 minutes.
- Stir in the Worcestershire sauce and the chicken stock, bring the mixture to a gentle boil, stirring occasionally, then reduce heat to low. Simmer for another 3 minutes.
- Stir in the sour cream and mix well. Add the minced chicken patty back to the pan and cook for a minute more, spooning some of the sauce over the meat as it heats.
- Remove the chicken patty from the pan and place it on a plate. Pour the sauce over the top and enjoy.
