Ingredients:

For The Chicken Patty:

  • 150g Minced Chicken.
  • 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil (7g)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
  • 1g chopped parsley 

For The Gravy:

  • 70g sliced onions
  • 100g sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 120ml chicken stock
  • 1 teaspoon sour cream

Instructions:

  1. Place the minced meat in a bowl. Add the Worcestershire sauce, mustard powder, garlic powder, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined. Flatten the seasoned Minced Chicken into a round patty, about ½-inch thick.
  2. Heat the oil in a medium-sized skillet on medium heat. Add the minced chicken patty to the hot skillet and cook for 4 minutes per side or until the burger is no longer raw. Remove the burger patty from the skillet and place it on a plate. Cover plate with aluminum foil and set aside.

To Make The Gravy:

  1. Return the skillet and add the onions. Cook, stirring occasionally for 1 minute. Add the mushrooms to the pan and cook, stirring occasionally until the mushrooms have softened, about 3 minutes.
  2. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce and the chicken stock, bring the mixture to a gentle boil, stirring occasionally, then reduce heat to low. Simmer for another 3 minutes.
  3. Stir in the sour cream and mix well. Add the minced chicken patty back to the pan and cook for a minute more, spooning some of the sauce over the meat as it heats.
  4. Remove the chicken patty from the pan and place it on a plate. Pour the sauce over the top and enjoy.
