TERIYAKI TURKEY BURGER

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 whole-wheat hamburger bun or English muffin
  • 150g Ground turkey breast
  • 2 tablespoon teriyaki sauce, divided
  • 50g pineapple rings
  • 50g Lettuce

Instructions:

  1. Mix ground turkey breast and 1 tablespoon teriyaki sauce
  2. Heat grill to medium
  3. Place burgers on hot grill
  4. Grill for about 7-9 minutes, depending on the desired temperature
  5. Flip and cook an additional 7-9 minutes
  6. While burgers are cooking on the second side, place pineapple rings on the grill and cook for 2 minutes.
  7. Flip pineapple and grill an additional 2 minutes
  8. Layer burger with lettuce, turkey burger, remaining 1 tablespoon teriyaki sauce and grilled pineapple.
  9. Enjoy!
