STIR FRIED SHRIMP WITH MIX VEGETABLES
Ingredients:
- 150g prawns (raw)
- 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil (7g)
- 100g cauliflower florets
- 50g beans
- 100g bell pepper
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- ¼ teaspoon turmeric
- 50g onion
- 1 green chili
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger
- 1 cloves garlic
- 1/2 sprig curry leaves
- 50g tomato, chopped
- 50ml water
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- To prepare peel, shell and devein the prawns. Once done, marinate them using turmeric, chilli powder and salt.
- Put a saucepan on medium flame and heat oil in it. When the oil is hot enough, add the marinated prawns and stir fry them on medium flame.
- When shrimps are almost cooked, add the sliced onion, green chilies along with ginger and garlic and rest of the vegetables in the pan. Stir fry on high flame for 3-4 minutes.
- When the onions are caramelized, and vegetables are fried add chopped tomato with the water.
- Season with salt and pepper. Cover and simmer for 10 more minutes on medium heat till the vegetables are soft and tender and serve hot.
