PALAK CHICKEN CURRY

 

Ingredients:

  • 150g Chicken breast boneless (turkey breast/ lean pork)
  • 200g spinach
  • 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil (7g)
  • ½ teaspoon cumin powder
  • 50g onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 3g ginger
  • 2 green chillies
  • Salt to taste
  • 50ml water 

Method:

  1. Clean the spinach leaves well and soak it in the water for 15-20 minutes to get rid of the impurities. Once the spinach is washed well, transfer it to a separate plate and keep it aside.
  2. Meanwhile, wash the boneless chicken. Now, place a pan on the medium flame and pour oil in it. Once hot enough, add the chicken pieces to it and fry till they turn brown from all the sides. Add salt and cumin powder in the same pan. Mix well and transfer it to a separate bowl now.
  3. Now, in a pan add chopped onions, salt, cumin, garlic, and ginger along with water and green chilli and spinach. Cook on a medium flame and mix well. Add the fried chicken pieces to it. Stir well for 5-6 minutes. After this, cook on low flame for another 5 minutes. Make sure you have left some gravy.
  4. Your Palak Chicken Curry is now ready
