GROUND BEEF STROGANOFF
Ingredients:
- 250g low calorie Slendier noodles (Well Rinsed)
- 250ml water
- 1 teaspoon butter
- 150g sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 onion thinly sliced
- 2 garlic cloves finely chopped
- 150g lean ground beef
- 150ml almond milk
- 1 teaspoon corn starch
- ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method:
- Place pasta in a bowl and cover with boiling water, set aside.
- Heat butter and oil over medium-high heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened. Add the mushrooms and cook until tender. Remove from the pan.
- Add the ground beef and cook till brown.
- To the meat and the milk and boil for 5 more minutes.
- Add the diluted corn starch and cook for 5 minutes or until slightly thickened.
- Add back the cooked mushrooms and onions.
- Finally add the cooked noodles and stir well.
