GROUND BEEF STROGANOFF

 

Ingredients:

  • 250g low calorie Slendier noodles (Well Rinsed)
  • 250ml water
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 150g sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 onion thinly sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves finely chopped
  • 150g lean ground beef
  • 150ml almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon corn starch
  • ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method:

  • Place pasta in a bowl and cover with boiling water, set aside.
  • Heat butter and oil over medium-high heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened. Add the mushrooms and cook until tender. Remove from the pan.
  • Add the ground beef and cook till brown. 
  • To the meat and the milk and boil for 5 more minutes.
  • Add the diluted corn starch and cook for 5 minutes or until slightly thickened. 
  • Add back the cooked mushrooms and onions.
  • Finally add the cooked noodles and stir well.
