TERIYAKI CHICKEN RECIPE

 

Ingredients:

  • 150g boneless chicken breast
  • 250g fresh broccoli florets cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil (7g)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 clove garlic chopped
  • 1g fresh ginger chopped
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar free syrup
  • ½ teaspoon sesame seeds
  • ½ teaspoon corn starch
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method:

  • In a large skillet lightly steam the broccoli florets for 10 minutes, and then set aside.
  • In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, sugar free syrup, garlic, ginger, and vinegar and corn starch.
  • Heat olive oil in the skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the chicken to the heated skillet and cook for 5-8 minutes until it is seared well.
  • Add the broccoli to the skillet with the chicken and pour the sauce over the broccoli and chicken. Stir to combine and cook for 1-2 minutes longer or until the chicken reaches 160 degrees.
