GRILLED TOFU SANDWICH

 

Ingredient:

  • 2 slices white bread
  • 1 teaspoon low fat mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon tahini (sesame-seed paste)
  • ½ tomato, sliced
  • 100g sliced tofu
  • ½ teaspoon soy sauce
  • 50g sliced zucchini
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Step 1

Preheat your oven’s broiler 170c.

Step 2

Take the slices of bread and Spread mayonnaise on one half of each one, and tahini on the other half. Place tomato slices, zucchini slices onto the mayonnaise slice, and sprinkle with a pinch of salt and pepper. Place slices of tofu onto the tahini slice and sprinkle a few drops of soy sauce over. Place the open sandwiches on a large baking sheet.

Step 3

Broil in the preheated oven until hot and bread is slightly toasted, about 7 minutes. Close the halves of each sandwich together and cut into wedges to serve.
