GRILLED STEAK NOODLE

 

Ingredients:

  • 125g low calorie Slendier Noodles, well rinsed
  • 150g Red Meat (Lean beef, Lamb Leg, Veal, Kangaroo, Goat, Camel)
  • 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil(7g)
  • 1/2teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon rice wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Sriracha sauce
  • 1 teaspoon low-sodium soy sauce
  • 150g shredded carrot
  • 100g thinly sliced cucumber
  • 50g bean sprouts
  • 1/2 tablespoon finely chopped mint
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. In medium bowl, whisk together the sauce ingredients. Reserve 1/2 mixture in another large bowl. Add steak to remaining 1/2 mixture and marinate for 30 minutes.
  2. Heat a grill pan to medium high heat. Grill the steak for 5 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness. Let rest for 5 minutes, then cut into thin slices against the grain.
  3. Meanwhile, cook noodle according to package instructions. Drain well.
  4. Add noodles, carrots, cucumber, and bean sprouts to remaining dressing. Toss well until everything is evenly coated.
  5. Portion into bowl and top with grilled steak and chopped mint. Dust some salt and pepper to taste.
