BEANS PORIYAL

 

Ingredients:

  • 200g green beans
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 1 red chilli
  • 1 sprig curry leaves
  • 30g lentil
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil (7g)
  • 5g grated coconut

Method:

Step 1

To prepare this delicious dish, wash the green beans and chop them in a bowl. Then, heat olive oil in a pan over medium flame and add mustard seeds to it and let them splutter.

Step 2

Then, add curry leaves along with lentil in the pan, and cook for a minute.

Step 3

Now, add the chopped beans and red chillies in the pan and cover the pan with a lid. Let the beans cook for about 5-7 minutes.

Step 4

Once the beans are cooked, turn off the flame and remove the pan from it. Add salt as per your taste and mix well.

Step 5

Transfer the dish to a serving bowl and garnish with a mixture of grated coconut. Serve immediately.
