AIR FRIED CALAMARI
Ingredients:
- 200g calamari
- 50g all-purpose flour
- 50g panko bread crumbs
- 1 whole egg
- 30g tempura flour
- 30ml almond milk
- 1 tablespoon tomato sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Combine the tempura flour and egg along with the milk and mix well to form a smooth batter.
- Combine breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, and flour in another bowl.
- Cut the calamari into rings and dip them in the tempura batter and then roll in breadcrumb mixture.
- Layer the coated calamari in the air fryer. Cook in batches for 10-12 minutes in 200C, do not overlap the calamari one another.
- Once done serve hot with some tomato sauce.
