AIR FRIED CALAMARI

 

Ingredients:

  • 200g calamari
  • 50g all-purpose flour
  • 50g panko bread crumbs
  • 1 whole egg
  • 30g tempura flour
  • 30ml almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon tomato sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Combine the tempura flour and egg along with the milk and mix well to form a smooth batter.
  2. Combine breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, and flour in another bowl.
  3. Cut the calamari into rings and dip them in the tempura batter and then roll in breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Layer the coated calamari in the air fryer. Cook in batches for 10-12 minutes in 200C, do not overlap the calamari one another.
  5. Once done serve hot with some tomato sauce.
