HAWAIIAN TUNA SANDWICH

 

Ingredient:

  • 2 slices white bread
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 150g canned tuna 
  • ¼ teaspoon lemon juice
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon chili powder
  • 50g shredded lettuce
  • 30g fat free mozzarella cheese
  • 1 slice pineapple ring
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions:

Step 1

Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Toast bread slices and spread with butter.

Step 2

Drain the oil from the tuna can. Combine the tuna, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and chili powder in a small bowl. Mix well. Fill tuna salad, shredded lettuce, mozzarella cheese, and one pineapple ring.

Step 3

Place sandwiches on a baking sheet, and heat until the cheese melts, approximately 10 to 12 minutes.
