French Omelette

 

Ingredients:

  • 3 whole eggs
  • 150g egg whites
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • salt as required
  • 10ml almond milk
  • 1 leaf lettuce

Method:

Step 1 

First, crack the eggs in a bowl and add in all the ingredients except butter. Keep beating this mixture, until the amount of this mixture becomes almost double the size. This is the secret to making it fluffy. Keep whipping it with a fork. Once done, keep it aside. (Note: You can use an electric beater to beat the eggs.)

Step 2

Next, add butter on a frying pan over medium heat. Once the butter is melted, add the fluffy egg mixture, and allow it to set. Let the omelette cook for 5 minutes on low to medium flame.

Step 3  

Now, flip the omelette carefully and cook for another 2-3 minutes. When there are no liquid eggs visible, switch off the flame and serve.
