SWEET AND SPICY TOFU SALAD

 

Ingredient:

  • 2 teaspoon sweet chili sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon grated fresh ginger root
  • ½ cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon dark soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 200g extra-firm tofu, drained and diced
  • 30g green peas
  • 100g carrots, grated
  • 50g finely shredded red cabbage
  • 1 teaspoon chopped almonds

Instructions:

Step 1

In a large bowl, mix the chili sauce, ginger, garlic, soy sauce, and sesame seeds. Place tofu in the mixture and marinate 1 hour in the refrigerator.

Step 2

Bring a pot of water to a boil. Immerse the green peas in the boiling water for 1 to 2 minutes, then immerse in a a bowl of cold water. Drain, and set aside.

Step 3

Toss the peas, carrots, cabbage, and almonds with the tofu and marinade to serve.
