SWEDISH MEATBALL NOODLES

Ingredients:

  • 125g Low Calorie Slendier Noodles
  • 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil (7g)
  • ½ teaspoon chilli flakes
  • 150g ground beef
  • 40g seasoned bread crumbs
  • 50g onion, finely minced
  • 1 whole egg
  • 200ml Almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 30g shredded parmesan cheese
  • 20g fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, chilli flakes, ½ teaspoon salt, and ½ teaspoon pepper, mixing until evenly combined.
  2. Heat the oil in a pot over medium-high heat. Take about a half golf-ball size of the meatball mixture and roll it into balls. Place the meatballs into the pot, cooking for one minute. Flip the meatballs.
  3. Add the, milk, ½ teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon pepper, and Worcestershire sauce and give it a stir.
  4. Bring the liquid to a boil, then add the noodles. Stir constantly until the pasta is cooked and the liquid has reduced to a sauce that coats the noodles, about seven to eight minutes.
  5. Add the parmesan and the parsley, stirring until the cheese is melted.
  6. Enjoy!
