SWEDISH MEATBALL NOODLES
Ingredients:
- 125g Low Calorie Slendier Noodles
- 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil (7g)
- ½ teaspoon chilli flakes
- 150g ground beef
- 40g seasoned bread crumbs
- 50g onion, finely minced
- 1 whole egg
- 200ml Almond milk
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 30g shredded parmesan cheese
- 20g fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, chilli flakes, ½ teaspoon salt, and ½ teaspoon pepper, mixing until evenly combined.
- Heat the oil in a pot over medium-high heat. Take about a half golf-ball size of the meatball mixture and roll it into balls. Place the meatballs into the pot, cooking for one minute. Flip the meatballs.
- Add the, milk, ½ teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon pepper, and Worcestershire sauce and give it a stir.
- Bring the liquid to a boil, then add the noodles. Stir constantly until the pasta is cooked and the liquid has reduced to a sauce that coats the noodles, about seven to eight minutes.
- Add the parmesan and the parsley, stirring until the cheese is melted.
