Pre-Workout Power Creamed Rice
Ingredients: (Makes 1)
- Semi-Skim Milk 200ml or 6.7fl oz
- Water 100ml or 3.4fl oz
- Arborio Rice 60g or 2.1oz
- Peach Slices 50g
- Blueberries 1 handful
- Honey 2 tsp
Instructions:
Combine the rice, low-fat milk, honey, and water in a large saucepan. Set the heat
to low.
Allow the mixture to simmer gently, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking, for
about 40 minutes until the rice is tender and creamy.
If the mixture thickens too much during cooking, loosen it with a little extra milk to
achieve the desired creamy texture.
Once cooked, remove the pan from the heat. Serve the creamed rice in a bowl,
topped with fresh blueberries, slices of peach, and a drizzle of honey.
