Orange & Vanilla Protein Toast

Ingredients: The ingredient amounts are for one serving.
- Orange 1, small
- Sourdough Bread 2 slices
- Greek Yoghurt 40g or 1.4oz
- Orange Juice 1 tbsp
- Vanilla Whey 10g or 0.35oz
- Date Syrup 1 tsp
Instructions:
Zest the orange first and set the zest aside. Peel and segment the orange,
removing any white pith to ensure the segments are juicy and clean.
In a small bowl, combine the Greek yoghurt, vanilla protein powder, and the
orange juice. Stir vigorously until the powder is fully incorporated and the mixture
is smooth and creamy.
Place the sourdough slices in a toaster or under a grill at 200°C (392°F) until
golden brown and crisp.
Spread the protein yoghurt mixture generously over the warm toast. Top with the
fresh orange segments. Drizzle with date syrup and finish with a sprinkle of the
reserved orange zest for extra fragrance.
