NO BAKE APPLE PIE PROTEIN BARS

 

Ingredients:

  • 50g coconut flour
  • 20g oats flour 
  • 1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder (35g) 
  • 2 tablespoon sugar free syrup
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon mixed spice
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2 tablespoon peanut butter 
  • 50g red apple, chopped
  • 3 tablespoon almond milk 
  • 2 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 30g mini chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Soak the chia seeds in water for 5 minutes.
  2. Line a large baking dish with greased paper and set aside.
  3. In large mixing bowl, combine the flour, protein powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, chopped apple, chocolate chips and mixed spice and mix well.
  4. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the nut butter and liquid sweetener and heat until melted. Pour the wet mixture into the dry and mix well. 
  5. Using a spoon, add chia seeds with the milk one spoonful at a time until a thick, firm batter is formed.
  6. Transfer to lined baking dish and press firmly. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
