NO BAKE APPLE PIE PROTEIN BARS
Ingredients:
- 50g coconut flour
- 20g oats flour
- 1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder (35g)
- 2 tablespoon sugar free syrup
- ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon mixed spice
- ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 tablespoon peanut butter
- 50g red apple, chopped
- 3 tablespoon almond milk
- 2 tablespoon chia seeds
- 30g mini chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Soak the chia seeds in water for 5 minutes.
- Line a large baking dish with greased paper and set aside.
- In large mixing bowl, combine the flour, protein powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, chopped apple, chocolate chips and mixed spice and mix well.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the nut butter and liquid sweetener and heat until melted. Pour the wet mixture into the dry and mix well.
- Using a spoon, add chia seeds with the milk one spoonful at a time until a thick, firm batter is formed.
- Transfer to lined baking dish and press firmly. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
