IRAQI BEEF KEBABS

 

Ingredients:

  • 150g lean beef
  • 1 red onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • ½ jalapeño pepper chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 50g carrot chopped
  • 100g bell pepper chopped
  • 50g cauliflower grated
  • 1 teaspoon spicy mango chutney

To Serve

  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 50g parsley leaves only
  • 20g coriander leaves only
  • 1 sliced red onion
  • 1 chopped tomato

Method:

  • Heat a griddle or grill to high.
  • Mix together the beef, onion, garlic, Aleppo pepper flakes, black pepper, mango chutney, finely chopped vegetables and a good pinch of salt in a mixing bowl. Divide long kebabs and put a skewer through each.
  • Put the kebabs onto the griddle or under the grill for 3-4 minutes on each side or until cooked through and tender. Serve with extra mango chutney, parsley, coriander, sliced onion, chopped tomatoes.
