Hash Browns with Egg

 

Ingredients: (Makes 1)

  • Potato 2 medium (200g)
  • Egg 2
  • Bacon Medallion 2
  • Cheese 10g, cheddar
  • Garlic Powder 1/4 tsp
  • Onion Powder 1/4 tsp
  • Paprika 1/4 tsp
  • Black Pepper twist
  • Salt Pinch
  • Olive Oil 1 tsp

Instructions:

Fry the bacon medallions and then set them to the side to cool before chopping
them up.

Peel and grate the potatoes and place them into the middle of a tea towel. Now
you need to squeeze the water out of the potatoes, squeeze hard as there is lots of
water.

Next add the potato to a mixing bowl along with the egg, chopped bacon, 1/4 tsp
paprika, 1/4 tsp onion powder, 1/4 garlic powder, pepper, salt, and cheese.
To a pan, add the olive oil.

Using your hands, split the mixture and form it into two patties. Add them to the
pan and cook on low-medium heat for 3 to 5 minutes on each side.

After you flip the hash browns, using either the same or another pan fry an egg.
