GREEN PROTEIN SMOOTHIE BOWL

 

Ingredients:

  • 100g spinach 
  • 100g frozen mango
  • 150g Greek yogurt 
  • 150ml Unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 scoop whey protein powder (35g) vanilla flavour

Toppings:

  • 20g pomegranate  
  • 20g strawberry
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon powder

Instructions:

  1. In a small bowl add 1 tablespoon of chia seeds and 2 tablespoon warm water and set aside.
  1. Meanwhile add all of the first 5 ingredients to the blender in the order listed. Blend on high for at least 2 minutes or until smooth. Scrape down the sides of the blender as needed. The smoothie will be very thick.
  1. Pour the smoothie into a bowl and add the pomegranate, strawberry, chia seeds on top. Dust a ¼ teaspoon of cinnamon powder on top and serve. Store any leftover smoothie covered in the refrigerator for up to 8-10 hours.
