DEVILLED CHICKEN SUBMARINE

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium size hot-dog bun
  • 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil (7g)
  • 150g boneless chicken breast
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 50g tomatoes
  • 50g bell pepper
  • 30g onion
  • 1 tablespoon tomato ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli flakes
  • 20g lettuce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method:

  1. In a non-stick pan heat some oil and then add the minced garlic, sauté till the aroma comes.
  1. Add the diced chicken and cook till golden brown approximately for 15minutes. Meanwhile slice the vegetables and keep aside.
  1. Once the chicken is golden crisp add the vegetables with the remaining ingredients (tomato ketchup, soy sauce, chilli flakes and season with salt and pepper) and cook for another 10 minutes. Once done keep aside.
  1. Cut the bun in half and slightly toast. Then arrange the lettuce neatly and then stuff with the mixture. Serve hot.
