Crispy Prawn Rice Paper Gyozas

Ingredients: The ingredient amounts are for one portion.
- Prawns 200g or 7oz, cooked
- Rice Paper Sheets 4
- Soy Sauce 2 tbsp
- Oyster Sauce 1 tbsp
- Sesame Oil ½ tsp
- Sesame Seeds ½ tsp
- White Pepper ½ tsp
- Salt pinch
- Spring Onion 1
- Garlic 1 clove
- Chilli Oil Crunch 1 tsp
- Corn Flour 2 tsp
Instructions:
Finely chop the prawns, chives, and spring onions. Add them to a bowl with the
oyster sauce, garlic, salt, pepper, and corn starch. Mix until well combined (you
can also pulse everything in a food processor for a finer texture).
Cut each rice paper sheet in half. Submerge one half-sheet in warm water for a
few seconds until just softened, then lay flat on a clean plate.
Spoon a heaped tablespoon of the filling onto the centre of the rice paper. Fold in
half to form a crescent shape, then press around the edges to seal. Repeat with
remaining sheets and filling.
Lightly spray both sides of the gyozas with cooking spray. Place onto baking paper
in your air fryer basket. Air fry at the highest setting (Max Crisp or 200°C/392°F) for
8 minutes per side, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
While the gyozas cook, stir together the soy sauce, sesame oil, chilli oil, and
sesame seeds in a small bowl. Let the gyozas cool slightly before serving. Dip
generously into the sauce and enjoy while crisp!
