CHICKEN SPINACH SOUP

 

Ingredients:

  • 300g spinach
  • 100g boneless chicken breast
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1 teaspoon flour
  • 250ml almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1/2 tablespoon fresh cream
  • 1 cup water as required
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • black pepper as required

Method:

Step 1 / 5

Wash the spinach leaves and remove the thick stems. Boil them along with the water for about 8 minutes, till the spinach is well cooked.

Cool and puree it in a blender, set aside. Take a pan and heat butter in it.

Add the chopped onions, diced chicken, and fry over medium heat for about 8 minutes, until the onions are transparent, and the chicken is cooked.

Add the plain flour and fry it over low heat. Now combine the spinach puree, milk, salt, and pepper with it.

Simmer over low heat for about 3 minutes.
