CHICKEN PICCATA

Ingredients:
- 150g boneless chicken breasts
- 1 teaspoon extra-virgin olive oil (7g)
- 1 whole egg (beaten)
- 30g all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon sriracha hot sauce
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
- Clean chicken breasts and pat dry. Using a sharp knife, file the breasts down the middle into thin cutlets. Generously season each piece with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Dredge each piece of chicken in flour and shake off any excess. Set aside.
- Now dip the pieces of chicken in the beaten egg.
- In a saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Fry chicken in batches, about 4 minutes on each side, until each piece turns brown. Remove from the pan and serve on a plate.
- Drizzle with hot sauce and enjoy.
