BEEF LO MEIN NOODLES
Ingredients:
- 125g Low calorie Slendier Noodles
- 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil (7g)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 150g Lean beef, cut into thin strips
- 100g mushrooms, quartered
- 100g carrot, peeled and sliced diagonally
- 50g bell pepper, julienned
- 1 tablespoon green pea
- ½ tablespoon hoisin sauce
- ½ tablespoon oyster sauce
- 20g scallions
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Cook the noodles according to packet instruction.
- Take a non-stick pan and add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds, then add the beef strips and sauté for another 8 minutes.
- Then add mushrooms, carrot, bell pepper, and peas and cook for about 5 minutes till browned.
- Meanwhile, mix hoisin sauce, oyster sauce to make the sauce.
- Toss noodles, steak, and vegetables with the sauce and season with salt and pepper.
- Garnish with scallions and serve.
