BEEF AND SPINACH GOZLEME

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil (7g)
  • 150g ground Lean Beef
  • 50g onion chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • ½ teaspoon chili flakes
  • 50g tomatoes, deseeded and chopped
  • 1 mission low carb wraps
  • 100g spinach
  • 45g part skim mozzarella
  • 50g mix salad leaves 
  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a nonstick pan add a teaspoon of oil and sauté onion and minced garlic.
  2. Once the aroma starts to come add the ground beef along with cumin powder, chili flakes, deseeded tomatoes and sauté for another 10 minutes then finally add the shredded spinach. Season well with salt.
  3. Meanwhile cook the wraps half way through. Then add the filling inside, sprinkle grated cheese and fold the wrap in to half. Cook well till the cheese melts and you get a nice crispy outer later for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Cut in to wedges and serve with salad leaves and lime wedges.
