ALMOND PUMPKIN BEEF KEBAB
Ingredients:
- 250g pumpkin
- 150g Lean Minced beef
- 1 teaspoon butter (7g)
- 30g almonds chopped
- 2 green chilli
- 1/2 tablespoon ginger powder
- 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 tablespoon red chilli powder
- ¼ teaspoon nutmeg powder
- 1/2 tablespoon chaat masala mix
- 1/2 tablespoon dry mango powder
Method:
Step 1
To start with this recipe, first, peel, deseed and grate the pumpkin. Keep it aside until needed next. Meanwhile, heat butter in a pan and add chopped ginger, chopped garlic, chopped green chillies and cumin seeds. Saute for a minute and add nutmeg powder, dry mango powder, chaat masala, red chilli powder and coriander powder. Mix everything very well.
Step 2
In this spice mix, add the minced beef as well and Cook for 10minutes. Then add the pumpkin and cook till the water has dried out. Add the chopped almonds and cook for another 5 minutes. Let the mixture cool down.
Step 3
Now, shape and cut the mixture in thin patties. Coat them with almonds. Next, heat a non-stick pan and once hot, add the patties in the pan. Cook till the bottom caramelizes and then carefully turn the patties. Cook them evenly on both sides till they are crisp from outside.
