Sourdough Melts

 

Ingredients: The ingredient amounts are for one portions.

  • Cottage Cheese 100g or 3.5oz, 0% fat
  • Black Pepper 1 twist
  • Sourdough Bread 2 slices
  • Red Pepper 1, small
  • Spring Onion 3
  • Cheddar Cheese 30g or 1oz
  • Chilli Jam 2 tsp, Nando’s
  • Coriander 1 tbsp, chopped
  • Salt 1 pinch

Instructions:

In a bowl, combine the cottage cheese, cheddar, chilli jam, spring onion, red
pepper, and coriander. Season lightly with salt and black pepper, then stir well until
everything is evenly coated.


Lay out the sourdough slices on a board or tray. Divide the mixture between them,
spreading right to the edges for full flavour in every bite.


Air Fryer: Cook at 200°C (392°F) for 8–10 minutes until crisp and golden. Oven
(Fan/Grill): Bake at 200°C (392°F) for 10–12 minutes, using the fan or grill setting,
until the top is lightly caramelised.


Let cool slightly before eating. Optionally, finish with a drizzle of hot honey or a few
chilli flakes for extra kick.
