Red Berry Bircher
Ingredients: (Makes 1)
- Apple Juice 150ml or 5 fl oz
- Raspberries 125g or 4.4oz
- Strawberry Protein Yogurt 120g or 4.2 oz
- Apple 1 small
- Porridge Oats 30g
- Chia Seeds 2 tsp
- Flaked Almonds 1 tsp
Instructions:
Begin by washing the raspberries and apple. Grate the apple, leaving the skin on
for added fiber.
In a bowl, combine the grated apple, raspberries, and porridge oats. Pour in the
apple juice, ensuring the fruits and oats are well covered.
Stir in the Strawberry Yogurt until everything is well mixed. Then, sprinkle in the chia
seeds and mix again.
Add the flaked almonds and add them to the mixture, stirring well to combine.
Cover the bowl and refrigerate overnight. The next morning, give your bircher a
good stir before serving. Enjoy this tasty and nutritious breakfast to kickstart your
day.
