OATS STRING HOPPERS

 

Ingredients:

  • 45g oats
  • 50g White rice flour
  • 120ml Hot water, as required
  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. Dry roast the oats until crispy. Then pulse them in a blender to get a fine powder. Now add the string hopper flour to the oats and a pinch of salt.
  2. Once everything is incorporated add the hot water gradually and mix the ingredients to a dough. Add water until you form a smooth dough. (Remember when the dough is hot it’s easier to pipe).
  3. Now take your string hopper mold and put the dough in batches and pipe them onto the molds.
  4. Stem the string hoppers for about 10minutes or until done.
