TERIYAKI CHICKEN RECIPE
Ingredients:
- 150g boneless chicken breast
- 250g fresh broccoli florets cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 teaspoon olive oil (7g)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 clove garlic chopped
- 1g fresh ginger chopped
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sugar free syrup
- ½ teaspoon sesame seeds
- ½ teaspoon corn starch
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method:
- In a large skillet lightly steam the broccoli florets for 10 minutes, and then set aside.
- In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, sugar free syrup, garlic, ginger, and vinegar and corn starch.
- Heat olive oil in the skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken to the heated skillet and cook for 5-8 minutes until it is seared well.
- Add the broccoli to the skillet with the chicken and pour the sauce over the broccoli and chicken. Stir to combine and cook for 1-2 minutes longer or until the chicken reaches 160 degrees.
